LQHHCS Holiday schedules and descriptions are listed below. Four holidays are observed on their actual dates. These holidays are New Year’s Day January 1st, Independence Day July 4th, Veterans Day November 11th and Christmas Day December 25th. The remaining six holidays, Martin Luther King Jr., Washington Birthday (Presidents’ Day), Memorial Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, and Thanksgiving Day are observed on a weekday. When a holiday falls on Saturday, the holiday is observed on the previous Friday. If the holiday falls on Sunday, the holiday is observed on Monday)

• Birthday of Martin Luther King Jr. (Third Monday on January 16th).

• Washington's Birthday (Third Monday on February 20th).

• Memorial Day (Last Monday on May 29th).

• Independence Day, July 4 (Actual Date).

• Labor Day (First Monday on September 4th),

• Columbus Day (Second Monday on October 9th).

• Veterans Day, November 11 (Actual Date).

• Thanksgiving Day (Fourth Thursday on November 23rd).

• Christmas Day, December 25 (Actual Date).
