Patient Compliance Policy
LQHHCS requires the patient to be receptive to home care services
The patient:
Must be willing to accept patient care services
Must not be combative, nor verbally or physically abusive to the caregiver
Must allow the care giver to perform his/her duties
As time progresses, a patient's mental condition may worsen. In cases where the patient's behavior becomes a safety concern for themselves and / or the caregiver, the patient must have a medical evaluation. Medical evaluation may involve counseling to increase coping skills and recognizing stress triggers, and /or may include mediations that help with aggressive or anxious behavior. If the patient's behavior progresses to where patient's and / or caregiver's safety cannot be achieve, LQHHCS may terminate services for unsafe working conditions.
